Hiring Process

We take care to match your interests and skills to positions available throughout Southern Africa. Here are answers to the questions we often get about what to expect when you apply.
Q How often is the job listing updated with new positions?
A Vacancies are updated weekly. This includes removing positions that have been placed or adding new positions that became available. New positions are posted as they become available.

Q How do I submit my CV?
A To submit your CV, go to Explore Openings and register on Career Seekers. All available positions at TransUnion are posted on Career Seekers. Once registered, you'll be able to:

  • Complete an online application for a specific position
  • Edit your profile at any time
  • Search job openings
  • Receive alerts for new openings in your field
Alternatively you can forward a cover letter and CV in Word format to RecruitmentCB@transunion.co.za. Your application, however, will only be considered if there is a relevant position available.

Q How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from TransUnion?
A As soon as you submit your application, your information is sent to our recruiters to review. A recruiter will e-mail you within three business days if an open position matches your skills and experience. When you apply on Career Seekers, your CV is retained in the Career Seekers database indefinitely and may be matched to future positions with search words.

Q Is there a pre-employment background investigation?
A Candidates who are extended offers of employment will go through a comprehensive background screening process. This includes, but may not be limited to, a credit and criminal background check through Kroll.
