How to opt out of receiving offers by mail, telephone or SMS

Opt-Out is a free service from the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) of South Africa.

If you like, you can have your address, e-mail address, telephone and cell number removed from lists used to promote goods and services. The DMA will inform businesses who are members of the association that you do not wish to receive their offers.

Three easy ways to opt out:

SMS DMA followed by your ID number to 34385.
Call the DMA Call Centre on 0861 DMA DMA (362 362).
Visit www.dmasa.org to access the Opt Out Register.
