About GCC Africa

Our fully virtual GCC in South Africa leverages local talent to deliver TransUnion’s core capabilities and support global operations with scale and speed.

We’re creating opportunities across a full stack of competencies with contact centre, business process management, technology support and transformation, data analytics and specialist roles. This enables TransUnion to expand our time zone and language coverage — ultimately enabling thriving economies around the world.

Our history

While TransUnion has been in business for over 50 years, our first GCC was established in 2017. Our current GCC network plays a critical role in helping our parent company make trust possible in the modern economy. Take a look at how it’s expanded over the years.

  • 1968: TransUnion launches operations in the US
  • 1993: TransUnion purchases bureau business in South Africa
  • 2017: TransUnion launches GCC pilot in India
  • 2021: The GCC Africa opens, hiring 350 people in year one
  • 2024: Our GCC network covers Costa Rica, India and South Africa, with close to 1,000 people in Africa
